E-mail Guidelines
Please
make SISWG emails concise and relevant to the SISWG. Most people will
only have time to read the first couple sentences, so please put
content up front.
E-mail Addresses
The
SISWG e-mail system will frequently bounce e-mails that include e-mail
addresses. For this reason, please manually remove all e-mail addresses
in any message sent to the SISWG e-mail reflector.
Taking Discussion Off-line
If
a particular discussion starts to generate a large volume of e-mail,
please form a subgroup and continue the discussion off-line. When the
subgroup comes to a consensus on an issue, please post a concise
summary to the SISWG e-mail reflector.
ComplaintsIf
you have specific complaints, please address these complaints directly
to the SISWG officers. The officers will take the appropriate action to
resolve the issue. In general, complaints should not be forwarded to
the SISWG e-mail reflector.
