  1. IEEE Patent Slide Set and Call for Patents
    1. No patents were brought forward.
  2. Approval of the agenda
    1. Eric move to approve, Walt seconds, passes unanimously.
  3. Approval of previous minutes
    1. Approved.
  4. Review of Previous Action Items
    1. Walt to collect the previous action items and status.
  5. New Business
1.     EME2 mix function (Ball)
      1. Review remaining work from sponsor ballot.
        1. Need guidance on figure revisions for Fabio.
        2. Test vectors needed. Hall Finney will check the vector.
      2. Concerns.
        1. Any necessary changes to the Standard?
          1. Confusion over EME mode name and references to paper. Fabio to add comment indicating “EME*” and “EME2” are the same.
          2. Birthday bounds on AES-256 at 264 sectors. An implementation or usage guide to discuss these implications is needed, but after acceptance of 1619.2. This was covered in 1619.0, but the implications of this are different in 1619.2 modes. Matt will send out a request for an editor of such a document.
2.     P1619.3 Updates (Ball/Hubis)
      1. Status of technical editor
        1. Matt Ball volunteers to fill in. Move into the new base template and add in enough to look like a KMIP profile and add the XML representation. Then add in namespace, discovery, enrollment, etc. Also start posting word documents with change tracking to allow broader participation in developing the standard.
        2. Time frame should remain the same as now posted.
      2. Review SNIA Tutorial Slides (Ball)
        1. Review of Matt’s slides for the SNIA tutorial.
        2. Matt will send out updated WSDL and Discovery proposal.
